The name Epona means “Great Mare” and the historic Gallo-Roman Goddess Epona was the protector of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

Prior to coming to Kerewong, Epona had 2 foals and a successful show and ridden career. She won many Arabian Costume show classes and has competed in youth showjumping events.

Epona lives up to her name, with an outstanding temperament, friendly, easy-going, intelligent and happy to oblige with whatever is asked of her. She is a talented jumper and a fantastic trail ride lead horse.
